I have studied and worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years and specialize in general and special population functional fitness, athletic performance, fat loss, special needs health, injury prevention, as well as chronic and acute pain management.

I also work with athletes, both amateur and professional, to assist them in developing speed, agility, and power production. Injury prevention is also crucial in developing stronger, well-rounded athletes, as well as the general population; Knowing when to progress and regress plays a large role in proper athletic training.

Playing Career Summary

Michael Manfro competed at the varsity, state championship, NCAA Division II, and NCAA Division III levels throughout his baseball career. As both a pitcher and hitter, he earned All-State, All-Conference, regional, and national recognition while competing against some of the top collegiate talent in the country. His playing career includes a Virginia State Championship, multiple MVP awards, conference-leading statistics, a Rawlings Gold Glove Award, a conference batting title, NCAA Division III national rankings, collegiate summer league All-Star honors, recognition as one of Virginia’s top high school baseball players, and opportunities to pursue professional baseball before choosing a career in coaching and athlete development.

Today, Michael brings that same passion, discipline, and competitive experience to developing baseball and softball athletes through private instruction at 360 Health & Fitness.
